HERO OF THE DAY - Man shoots, kills suspect who tried to rob him

An Orlando man turned the tables on two men he thought planned to rob him early Saturday, shooting one dead and holding the other for authorities, deputies said.

Miguel Jimenez, 56, told deputies he noticed two men waiting near his apartment at the Villa Tuscany complex on Sherwood Terrace Drive in west Orange County as he arrived home a little after midnight.

Jersey City Police Chief Takes Aim at NRA

The police chief wants to protect himself and his men at the expense of the people he is sworn to protect. These Mossbergs are typically used for home defense, and citizens should not stand by while their constitutional right of self dense is taken away because this man is incapable of controlling the crime in his area. This is as outrageous as if the state police tried to pull our motor vehicle registration every time someone got drunk and killed someone with a car.
